Thanks for this blog. I’ve been struggling with the needs of my church congregation for a year now and only pray that attitudes of our worship will change due to the generation gap (young and old, each wanting certain songs sung during worship). There are days when I also feel like I am not worthy or unable to stand there and worship 100% but I know that I must go by faith.

Hello Pastor Ross,

I just want to thank you for writing and expressing your thoughts on what true worship really is….Like you said “By the firm faith and deep conviction of my relationship with God.” I 100% agree that worship is not about feelings or even about us. I desire to be the one who is earnestly seeking him and living by faith. I am getting married in 2 weeks and I am so thankful I read this because I am being tested in so many ways and I know that God is in control. I know God is waiting to reward me, and its not that we seek him to get something back but I know that those who are faithful he honors and takes care of. Your blog truly inspired me to continue to Worship.

Thank you for your words, I read them to my fiance who is a musician and he too agrees with you!!
